ABOUT THE JOB

Infinium Spirits is seeking a proven, dynamic, results-driven business executive to lead commercial performance across the Northeast and Southeast divisions as Divisional Vice President. This executive leadership role is accountable for the development and execution of regional sales strategies across the portfolio to accelerate growth, increase market share, strengthen distributor partnerships, and deliver sustainable, profitable growth.

Reporting directly to the President, the Divisional Vice President provides strategic leadership across the territories while ensuring consistent execution across markets and sales channels. This individual will establish clear priorities, foster accountability, and drive a high-performance culture through strong communication, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration. The role requires clear ownership of market prioritization, investment decisions, and execution standards.

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded commercial leader who balances strategic thinking with hands-on market engagement, understands the complexities of the three-tier system, and is passionate about developing people, strengthening distributor relationships, and delivering sustainable business results. This individual should be as comfortable in the boardroom as they are selling on the street.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / THE DAY-TO-DAY

Commercial Leadership & Business Performance

• Develop and execute commercial strategies that drive sustainable, profitable growth and achieve depletion, shipment, revenue, profitability, and market share objectives across the Northeast and Southeast divisions.

• Establish clear priorities and business plans by brand, market, channel, and distributor, translating financial objectives into measurable action plans.

• Maintain accountability for divisional performance through consistent measurement of key performance indicators, identifying opportunities, removing barriers, and driving corrective action when necessary.

• Translate national brand and channel priorities into clear market-level execution plans, including targets, investment decisions, owners, and timelines.

• Lead rolling 12-month business planning, forecasting, and performance reviews to support long-term commercial success.

Market & Channel Accountability

• Evaluate market-level performance through business analytics, distributor scorecards, and sales trends to identify growth opportunities and improve execution.

• Drive consistency in sales standards, pricing integrity, promotional effectiveness, and brand execution throughout the division.

• Partner with distributors to strengthen execution, improve accountability, and maximize return on commercial investments.

• Ensure distributor commitments translate into measurable execution at the point of purchase, including PODs, displays, menus, pricing, and velocity.

Leadership & People Development

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Support the team through regular market visits, business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and field coaching.

• Establish clear expectations, performance goals, and development plans while fostering a high-performing, results-oriented sales organization.

• Build organizational capability by identifying talent, developing future leaders, and promoting best practices across the division.

• Assess team capabilities, identify performance gaps, and establish clear sales execution priorities to ensure the team is focused and delivering against the commercial plan.

Distributor & Customer Partnerships

• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with distributor leadership, key accounts, and strategic customers.

• Conduct regular distributor business reviews focused on performance, execution, investment effectiveness, and future growth opportunities.

• Evaluate potential distributors within the territory against the current portfolio to ensure strategic fit and route-to-market success.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Serve as a strategic partner to Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment across commercial initiatives.

• Maintain clear, timely, and consistent communication across the organization, effectively sharing business priorities, market insights, risks, and opportunities.

• Bring the voice of the market back to the business in a clear, actionable way, particularly where pricing, supply, or programming impacts execution.

• Champion cross-functional collaboration to improve execution, streamline processes, and accelerate business performance.

Market Presence & Execution

• Maintain a significant field presence through regular travel within assigned markets to evaluate execution, support Regional Managers, strengthen customer relationships, and identify emerging opportunities.

• Represent Infinium Spirits with professionalism while reinforcing company culture, values, and commercial standards.

• Travel approximately 90–95%, including overnight travel, evenings, and occasional weekends, based on business needs.

AM I THE RIGHT FIT?

• Strong ownership mindset and intestinal fortitude.

• 12+ years of beverage alcohol sales experience.

• 8+ years of experience leading multi-state teams.

• Proven success leading teams at all levels.

• Strong commercial planning and P&L mindset.

• Ability to influence distributor executives.

• Strong financial acumen, including ROI, pricing, and margin management.

• Executive-level communication and presentation skills.

• Experience leading through KPIs and accountability.

• Demonstrated success building high-performing teams.

• Deep knowledge of all channels, including On-Premise, Off-Premise, Control/Open States, Chains, and Independent accounts.

• Experience managing distributor transitions, underperforming markets, and complex route-to-market decisions.

• Willingness to maintain a highly visible market presence while operating as an executive leader.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Standing and walking: This role may require extended periods of standing or walking while conducting field sales or working in retail environments.

• Lifting and carrying: This role may involve lifting and carrying product samples, promotional materials, or demonstration equipment up to 50 lbs.

• Driving: Significant time may be spent driving and sitting for extended periods while traveling between markets and accounts.

• Physical presentations: Must be able to stand, gesture, and maintain a high level of energy and engagement during presentations to clients and prospective customers.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation for this position will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, leadership scope, qualifications, skills, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.

This role may also be eligible for an annual bonus.
